1. 1)locate the internal spring in the mechanism that breaks frequently, I don’t know where exactly the original spring is bound and I would appreciate if someone could send a picture of the top of the MX after removal of the top cover. By the way: the spring is needed to pull lever “A” (which is “L” shaped) away from the counter, so that the other part of the “L” is pushed towards the counter (just below number 18 in the picture). The lever has a small hook (“B”) for one end of the spring. The central part of the spring (I suggest two coils) goes around screw “C”. The other end of the coils must be connected in a position such as it can generate enough strength to pull the lever, but it must be weaker than the force needed to reset the counter to zero. I found that position “D” id just as effective as the original position, which I ignore.
